Harimau Golf Club was formed in December 2003. The idea was first brought up by Consul General of Malaysia at that time. Our very first motive was to bring together all Malaysian golfers and other keen golfers who are interested in being a member of a club which will give them a sense of belonging with lots of fun and enjoyable golf activities.
The main objectives of the club are to provide an environment or a means for networking, get together, sharing of experience both at work and living in China and most importantly a channel for more charity work.
We started with a nominal no of only 20 members and had since grown to more than 260 members. Our members come from different professions and nationalities which in turn made all our golf meets more interesting and informative.
We currently have our very own monthly medal which falls on every 1st Saturday of the month and an annual event which falls on the month of November. In between, we also organised inter-club tournaments as well as fund raising for charity and golf outings too.
